POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking to add a Sales Support Intern to our team. The ideal candidate has a desire to work closely with customers, is detail-oriented, and is interested in learning more about sales and sales support.

- Respond to inquiries from customers or sales team members in a timely manner
- Enter new sales orders and make detailed updates to existing orders
- Work as a supportive member of the team to complete daily workload
- Work with an optimization mindset to improve daily processes and procedures
- Execute workload through appropriate channels based on training and standardized procedures
- Spend time in all areas of our business to learn and prepare to answer dealer and customer questions
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand the needs of the organization and those we serve
- Ask thought-provoking questions to better understand each audience and how we can serve their needs
- Generate and communicate feedback and ideas to the different functions throughout the organization
- Work with your leader to develop a project and present your final presentation to the leadership team at the end of the internship

Other Information
To be part of the Millborn intern team, you must spend time in all areas of the business. Prior to starting your internship, you must spend at least 100 hours working in the warehouse to understand the behind-the-scenes of our business. These hours can be done anytime from the moment of hiring and will be paid hourly as laid out in the internship contract.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work performed is in an indoor office environment and requires the ability to sit or stand to operate standard office equipment, computers and phones.
- Moderate noise in a cubicle setting must be able to walk short distances, lift and carry small parcels/packages.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- GED/High School Diploma required
- Post Secondary Education and/or adequate experience in business, marketing, sales, or agronomy preferred
- Agricultural/Agronomy background is a plus.
